KnowT presents itself as a comprehensive communication platform aimed at enhancing the interaction between schools and the parents or guardians of their students.

Upon signing up for KnowT, parents can activate their profiles and link them to their respective schools that are already registered on the platform. This initial step facilitates a streamlined communication process.

Through KnowT, parents are able to send various notifications to the school, such as alterations in transportation arrangements, notification of leave or absenteeism, and direct messages to specific staff members. Each notification follows a structured workflow within the school, ensuring that parents receive acknowledgments for their submissions, thereby minimizing the risk of miscommunication.

The platform provides additional value by notifying parents when their children board the school bus, including details about the bus and the times of boarding and deboarding. Furthermore, KnowT offers real-time GPS tracking of the bus, assisting parents in coordinating their arrivals at the bus stop.

On the school’s end, KnowT allows for mass communications to all registered parents with just a few clicks. It also enables schools to create specific 'closed user groups' (CUGs) for targeted messaging among selected parents.

Moreover, schools can utilize the platform for essential updates such as publishing timetables and schedules for events or examinations. The ability to host polls on general interest topics further engages parents in important discussions.

Note: Ongoing use of GPS functionality in the background may significantly reduce battery life.
